What it is and how we do it
A company needs an ERP the moment it stops fitting into spreadsheets. The symptoms are recognisable: inventory in Excel, sales in a CRM, books in accounting software, job requests in a messenger — and nobody can quickly say what a given order actually costs or which stage it is at. An ERP pulls those processes into one loop where data is entered once, and management sees company-wide numbers instead of reports assembled by hand before each meeting.
We take one of two routes. If your processes are close enough to standard, rolling out Odoo and configuring it around you is faster and cheaper — it is a ready base with accounting, inventory and procurement. If the logic is genuinely unique (your own manufacturing, an unusual costing model, industry-specific requirements), we build a custom ERP with no unused modules and no per-user fees. In both cases the hard part is not the code but data migration and getting people onto the new system, so we roll out in stages, train the staff, and keep the old tools running until the new ones actually work.

Odoo or a bespoke build — how do we choose?
We compare both during the analysis stage and show you the numbers. Odoo wins when your processes are close to standard: much of the functionality already exists and the rollout takes less time. A bespoke build is justified when unique logic reaches into the core of the system — customising Odoo then turns into a permanent fight with the platform and ends up costing more.
Can the ERP integrate with our accounting software so we keep it?
Yes, and that is the most common scenario. The books stay where they are, while the ERP takes the operational side — inventory, procurement, sales, production — and exchanges documents and reference data with the accounting system automatically. Nobody enters data twice, and your accountant keeps the tool they know.
What happens to the data in our old systems?
Data migration is a planned stage of the project, not an afterthought. We move reference data, balances, transaction history and documents, and before launch we reconcile: totals and balances in the new system must match the old one exactly. The old systems stay readable until you are satisfied everything transferred correctly.
How long does an ERP rollout take, and what do you need from us?
An Odoo rollout usually takes 2 to 4 months and a custom ERP 4 to 9, and we launch it in parts rather than in one day. From your side we need one person who knows the processes and can make decisions, plus staff time for training — no rollout works without that, however good the code is.
